Biography

Full Professor of EU Law, Roma Tre Law Department.

Prof. Morviducci has extensively published in the area of EU Law studies with a particular interest on the external action of the European Union, Asylum and Migration Policies, European Citizenship. In the past, she has also been responsible for two Jean Monnet Modules focused on Common Foreign and Security Policy and European Citizenship.

In relation to the IUEDL Module Prof. Morviducci will provide her expertise in relation to relevant novelties introduced by the Lisbon Treaty in relation to disaster issues, such as the Clause of solidarity already applied in case of earthquakes affecting EU States. Furthermore she will also lead the case-study focused on the application of IEUDL rules in case a major disaster will affect an EU State, thus permitting participants to evaluate whether the EU legal system and those of EU Member States are fit to face with major hazards.
