Biography

Research Fellow of International Law at Roma Tre International University, dr. Riccardi research interests focus on International Criminal Law, International Human Rights Law, International Humanitarian Law and International Disaster Law. She holds a PhD summa cum laude from the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies of Pisa, where she defended a thesis entitled “Rationales of Sentencing in International Criminal Law: In Search for Consistency”. She gained significant experience in teaching to first degree and master students; and in training activities for organizations such as: Italian Ministry of Defence, Italian Red Cross, Italian Centre of High Studies of the Ministry of Defence and the International Institute of International Humanitarian Law. She has been the rapporteur and co-rapporteur of Reports relevant for International and European Disaster Law. In the context of IEUDL, dr. Riccardi will be responsible for teaching one case study and tutoring students.
